Our Beginning
Nordic Curtains started in a small workshop in Frederiksberg when two former interior designers decided that Danish homeowners deserved better options than mass-produced window treatments. We believed that curtains should be crafted with the same attention to detail as fine furniture.
What began as a two-person operation has grown into a team of twelve specialists, including fabric experts, seamstresses, and installation technicians. Each member brings a dedication to quality that our clients notice from the first consultation to the final hanging.
How We Work
Every project begins with understanding your space. We visit your home to see the windows in person, observe how light enters throughout the day, and discuss how you actually use each room. A bedroom needs different treatment than a living room, and a north-facing window behaves differently than one facing south.
From there, we guide you through fabric selection, presenting samples that suit both your aesthetic preferences and practical requirements. Our production team then cuts and sews each panel precisely to your measurements, and our installers ensure a perfect fit.

When possible, we partner with fabric suppliers who hold OEKO-TEX or GOTS certifications, ensuring that materials meet environmental and social standards throughout their production.
